About Talk With Me

Talk With Me is a paediatric speech therapy service based in Lismore in Northern New South Wales. We offer assessment and intervention services to children aged 2 to 12, and can offer clinic, school or Telehealth based sessions for our clients.

At Talk With Me, we are dedicated to helping children achieve their communication goals through personalised and evidence-based speech pathology services. We believe in the power of strong, trusting relationships to foster engagement and ensure positive outcomes in therapy.

Mia McRae

Speech Pathologist

BSpPath, MSPA,CPSP

Mia is the Director and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist (CPSP) at Talk With Me. She is a passionate and dedicated clinician with a strong interest in paediatric communication development. Mia completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University and has gained valuable experience across the areas of speech, language, literacy, and fluency. She is highly motivated to provide exceptional care and strives for the best possible outcomes for every child she supports.

Mia is committed to delivering evidence-based, family-centred intervention tailored to each child’s unique strengths and needs. She believes therapy should be both meaningful and enjoyable, creating a positive and engaging environment where children feel confident to learn and grow. Through collaborative assessment and intervention, Mia empowers families and helps children build the communication skills they need to thrive across home, school, and community settings.

Kylie Hyde

Speech Pathologist

MSpPath, CPSP, BEd

Kylie is a recent speech pathology graduate who is dedicated to supporting children to develop their capacity and confidence when communicating.  As a primary school teacher with 23 years experience she chose to undertake a Masters of Speech Pathology at Charles Sturt University.  Kylie’s motivation was to provide children with targeted, evidence based intervention to aid their engagement in learning and socialising.

Kylie is committed to establishing partnerships with children, their families and teachers to collaboratively work towards achieving clear and functional goals.  She strives to make therapy engaging for children by incorporating their interests and creating a positive environment.

Kylie has gained valuable and varied experiences across the areas of language, literacy, speech and fluency during placements and looks forward to building upon these further with clients at Talk With Me.

Eva McRae

Available Wednesday to Friday

Allied Health Assistant (Speech Pathology)

Eva is currently completing her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Southern Cross University. She is passionate about supporting children and their families across all areas of communication development, and is committed to providing therapy that is warm, engaging, and tailored to each child’s individual needs.

Working under the guidance and supervision of our qualified Speech Pathologists, Eva supports children with a range of speech, language, literacy, and social communication goals through fun, evidence-based intervention. She has a particular interest in early intervention and enjoys creating therapy experiences that are meaningful, motivating, and centred around each child’s strengths and interests.

Eva values building positive relationships with children and families, and strives to help every child feel confident, supported, and successful in their communication journey.
